New Schedule - Please Read Entire Post

Greetings - I hope you are enjoying your spring break!
Remember that 1) your bibliography is due when we return from break; 2) your final project is due on the same day that you will take the course final, and 3) because you have the opportunity to complete a draft, you will not be able to rewrite the final paper.
Please plan accordingly and plan ahead!

Here is our revised schedule for the remainder of the semester:

20 APRIL
- Annotated Bibliography is due (Don't forget to read the assignment closely *and* adhere to its parameters, and don't forget to ask BC librarians for assistance!)
- Reading due: All of the book Haruko/Love Poems by June Jordan. (How often do you get to read a whole book of love poems?) It should be available at Shakespeare & Co and various other bookstores and libraries. Think about the idea of love and love poems in general, and come with five poems you found particularly compelling.
- [Drafts of papers are accepted, according to the assignment parameters.]

27 APRIL
- Read: The article from Brother to Brother, the Wekker article, and the first seven pages of the intro to Black Queer Studies (all readings are in the course pack).
- [Drafts of papers are accepted, according to the assignment parameters.]

4 MAY
- Read both the story and the essay by Ferre (both are in the course pack).

11 MAY
- Review for exam

18 MAY
- Final papers and curricula are due AND all students will take an in-class final exam.
